Gyanarthi Programme is an Open Basic Education program where the students have the advantage of learning at their own pace and potential. Independent and self -learning makes them life time learners.
During this Pandemic, it is the poor and the marginalized section of the society who is the most affected and the learning has been greatly disrupted. Many children are out of school and even after the school reopens, these children may still not be able to join the school due to their economic condition. The Gyanarthi Program at VIDYA Centre of Excellence, Whitefield will help such children to bridge the gap and continue their education under the Open Basic Education/NIOS.
The objective of the program is to build a strong foundation in Literacy, Numeracy, and Environment. The teaching methodology will be based on EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING; the students will learn in an open atmosphere at their own pace, being guided and motivated by their teachers who are mere facilitators.
Primary school and Middle School education support for students to appear for the exams conducted by the Open School of Education/NIOS, Central Education Board for Levels A, B, C & D (Level A: 5 to 9 years; Level B: 10 to 12 years; Level C: 13 + years; Level D: 14+ years)
To motivate and encourage the students to complete middle school and the senior secondary board examination (X & XII). To help them get the necessary scholarship to continue their further education.
Level A & B: Kannada, English, Maths, EVS & Computer
Level C: English, Math, Social Science, Science & Computer
NIOS: English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Data Entry, Home science.
Co-Curricular: Arts, dance, music, games, yoga.
