At VIDYA, through NIOS our focus is to provide alternate means of schooling – who are not privileged enough to receive education through formal schools. VIDYA NIOS is giving a second opportunity to many who thought a single failure could impact the rest of their future. By giving another shot at success, we endeavour to metamorphose their lives and that of their families. Failure is not a good word and nobody wants it but it happens somewhere for so many reasons. We at the NIOS programme are giving another chance to the dropout students so that they will come with other students in the main stream.
Life skill classes were – held on various topics like Change Your Life With Positive attitude And Self-belief; Our Mind And Body; Tapping The Power Of Your Mind.
Art & craft classes – Students were taught about primary and secondary colors and how to use them. Students also made free hand drawings
Computer Classes
Online counseling sessions are regularly conducted for all students and teachers. Various Quizzes are also organised online to keep up the spirit.

The faculty at both the centers(NIOS Gurugram and IIT Delhi) strived very hard to keep the students engaged and motivated them during the pandemic that did not deter us from forging ahead with academic rigor to ensure that our beneficiaries performed well in their forthcoming exams.
The 100% pass result that we achieved for the academic session 2019-20 is a manifestation of the hard work put in by the staff and a reflection of their determination to overcome the challenges that came their way.
New Initiatives 2021-22
Green Avengers- Reuse of various plastic waste material, turned into something useful and decorative .
Cosmetology- The students will be taught hairstyling, skin care , manicure, pedicure mehendi application
Culinary- The students will be inducted into basic culinary skills in partnership with Foodshalla.
