Over 100 students from the VIDYA School are Mensa-qualified
The first batch (2016-17) of class XII and performed exceptionally in the CBSE examinations with 5 students scoring above 95% in English, Physics, History and Physical Education.
The students of the class of 2018 graduated with noteworthy results. Sanjana Nagar secured an aggregate of 95% and is currently pursuing English Honors at Lady Shri College. Komal Yadav, who aspires to be an aeronautical scientist, is pursuing B.Sc Computer Science at Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University.
The CBSE exam result of the class of 2019 brought further accolades to VIDYA, with Anshul Dubey, the school topper scoring 94.6%. VIDYA School today can boast of a 100% result.
Three of the VIDYA School students qualified to appear for the JEE advanced examination. Vikram Sarkar has joined NIT Kurukshetra where he is doing a B.Tech in Computer Science. Eight other students joined Delhi University for undergraduate courses.
In order to ensure all-round development of our students, the VIDYA School has a robust extra-curricular program which includes sports, dance, music, fine arts and theatre. Our students have distinguished themselves in the sporting arena in the field of football, jump rope (district level champions), chess (district level) and athletics.
In the literary sphere our students have won state-level awards in creative writing. Our students have been recognized for creating the best position papers at the Model United Nations events hosted at premium schools.
The School also houses a fully functional English Language Laboratory with the support of KPMG. The Wordsworth Language Program aims at enhancing the listening and speaking skills of the students through an intensive and effective use of audio-visual learning tools.
To eliminate Math-phobia we’ve introduced the Khan Academy Program where children learn in a non-threatening environment and move ahead at their pace in the subject devoid of stress.
The VIDYA School has its own Robo Shiksha Kendra to encourage the development of scientific thinking and engineering skills. Our students have participated and won accolades at interschool competitions.
