Forty years ago, VIDYA was born from a dream - a dream to educate, empower, and transform lives. What began as a small initiative has grown into a national movement, impacting thousands
of lives across India.
On March 29, 2025, this inspiring journey was celebrated at VIDYA @ 40:
Reflection, Growth, Impact, hosted at VIDYA School, Gurugram.
VIDYA has always stood for more than education—it represents a family, a movement, and a
powerful force for positive change. For four decades, VIDYA has empowered underprivileged
children, youth, and women with high-quality education, essential life skills, and a nurturing
support system. Each child, each teacher, each supporter has been a cornerstone of this
remarkable journey.
VIDYA’s 40th year celebrations witnessed the participation of nearly 600 attendees, including 300 esteemed guests and 300 proud parents of student performers and participants.
Distinguished guests and inaugurations
The celebration was honored by the presence of Professor T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), who joined us as Chief Guest.
The Art Fair was inaugurated by Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh, a devoted Patron of VIDYA and an esteemed educationist.
The STEM Fair was inaugurated by Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, Vice
Chancellor of Nayanta University and a valued member of the VIDYA community.

The evening came alive with an awe-inspiring dance and musical performance by our students, who creatively brought to life VIDYA’s 40-year legacy. Inauguration of the Center for Discovery and Innovation Hub
This cutting-edge facility will ignite curiosity and equip students with critical 21st-century skills in AI, robotics, coding, and entrepreneurship. It stands as a promise to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the tools to innovate, lead, and thrive.
Art Fair highlights
A colorful showcase of creativity from across VIDYA centers:
* VIDYA Gurugram: Mirror Art, Portraits, Landscapes, Indian Folk Art, Still Life
* VIDYA Mumbai: Indian Folk Art including Madhubani, Warli, and Gond
* VIDYA Bangalore: Acrylic Landscapes and Folk Art
* VIDYA NIOS: Diverse representations of Indian Folk Art
STEM Fair highlights
The STEM Fair at VIDYA @ 40 showcased a remarkable array of student-led innovations,
reflecting the creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities nurtured across
VIDYA centers. A total of 31 projects were exhibited, offering solutions to real-world
challenges through science, technology, and innovation.
Each project was a testament to the students’ ingenuity and the mentorship provided by the
dedicated educators at VIDYA. The STEM Fair not only celebrated technical innovation but also
encouraged young minds to explore futuristic career paths.
